A Memorial Day Weekend Farm Wedding
Mary and Erich said “I do” Memorial Day Weekend at their farm wedding at Northfork in Oswego, Illinois.
This patriotic themed farm wedding was more than fitting as Erich currently serves in the United States Air Force. Their entire day filled with love, handcrafted details and guests from far and wide, excited to celebrate the big day.
Mary wore her grandmother’s locket down the aisle, an heirloom that has been passed down for generations. Erich began his day in full Uniform and had the help of his dad and eight groomsmen to get ready. And because Mary & Erich were simply so excited to see one another, their First Look was pure magic. Which made for a stunning portrait session!
A day dressed in white, silver, and blues, highlighting their patriotic theme. The Flower Girl Company created Mary’s bouquet with blue thistles, hydrangeas, delphinium, dahlias and more. Stars and strips where hidden throughout every detail pairing perfectly with the florals and decor.
The details of a wooden pallet timeline, paper airplanes to celebrate, the fallen soldier memorial, snack stations, and table centerpieces; guests could see so much love poured into every preparation.
Mary & Erich’s families gave a toast that was so moving showcasing who these two individuals truly are to the depths of their hearts.
Words like “brave, extraordinary, bold, role-model and kind” were said as stories of this love began to unfold.
Mary and Erich, are a couple who fell in love, conquered long distance, mastered having fun together and becoming an example of pure joy for those around them.
Mary and Erich, I think you two are incredible and I cannot wait to see where life takes you next! I love you both!
