I will never forget the first time I met Kate & David. When they inquired about wedding photography, they said that they wanted to meet me first. Which is something I love! I walked into this crowded little diner to see Kate & David sitting the on the same side of a small table in the corner with a cup of black coffee waiting for me. For me! I knew right then that this was my couple. (Kate & David- if you’re reading this, this was the moment I feel in love with you two!)
Kate & David were married November 9th, 2018 at the Milford Hills Hunt Club. November 9th was also the day of the first Northern IL/Southern WI snow of the winter season! So when I arrived to Kate that morning, I asked her if they had any tradition for the first snow of the season. And I have to admit, I have no idea why I would ask this. If you know me, I’m anti-snow. I think I was honestly just making chit-chat. But oh my goodness did her answer knock me out of the park! (thank you very much Devine Intervention!) Kate told me that every year on the first snow, her and David put up their Christmas tree. Light bulb.
So how could I not put these two love birds right snack bad in front of Milford Hill’s line of cedars for their first look?! If you are unsure about First Look‘s or want to see some magical memories, scroll down to Kate & David’s first look. Snowy, Christmas tree magic at it’s finest!
Kate & David, I love you so so much! What an honor it is knowing you two.
Kate’s Sweet Words:
“Amy is AMAZING! She is more than just a photographer, she’s a friend, planner, helper, support and everything in between. We discovered Amy after a bad experience with our previous wedding photographer. Amy instantly put us at ease and made us confident in hiring her. The photos we’ve seen from our day were outstanding!! Our guests were commenting on how they can’t wait to see what she captured because she was EVERYWHERE! Going into this day, we were confident that Amy was going to capture everything beautifully. She will honestly be our go-to photographer for everything for now on.”
